The always opinionated Star discussed the recent footage dropped by TMZ of Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancee, now wife, Janay Palmer in an Atlantic City elevator.
The main point to be taken away from this episode of "Star: Live & Direct" is that we all, and especially hip-hop artists who he feels disrespect black woman too often, should have more reverence and respect for them, as Black women often stand up for and defend Black men, even when it may not be to their benefit.
Star uses this exact situation as the example, with Palmer coming out and downplaying her husband's actions while defending him to the media. While Star may or may not agree with her defending Rice, he doesn't believe that name-calling or degrading her for her decision will help either.
