The singer, who celebrated her 32nd birthday this week, posted a behind-the-scenes look into her theatrical VMA performance on Friday.
In light of her Video Vanguard Award, the singer performed a 16-minute set with all of the tracks from her latest album Beyonce.
After the touching moment on stage with her family, Bey fought back tears while her daughter gave her more praise backstage.
