The AK-47 that got Jeezy locked up recently turned out to be a legally registered firearm belonging to the head of security accompanying him on his tour, who just so happened to be in the hospital on the night that the weapon was seized by police.  Jeezy along with 5 of his associates were arrested. Police initially searched the bus in connection to a fatal shooting that happened two nights earlier on Wiz Khalifa's Under The Influence tour.

According to TMZ, sources claim the security chief who owned the gun was in the hospital because he was caught in the crossfire of the Suge Knight shooting that took place the night before at Chris Brown's pre-VMA party.

Jeezy's arrest was suspicious from the start, as law enforcement sources told TMZ that the gun was in a closed case in an area associated with someone else. The Snowman was in a separate cabin where no weapons were found. Official reports also claim that police were told that the firearm belonged to the security chief who was hospitalized, but everyone on the bus was arrested anyway.

The "Go Getta" rapper is currently out promoting his new album, "Seen It All," which is in stores now.
