Immortal Technique did acknowledge that in Battle Rap, "bars will only get you so far," and he understands why Daylyt does what he does to make himself stand out more than his peers. At the same time, Immortal stated that he is not Daylyt's "physician" and doesn't prescribe his medication. In this day and age, Immortal Technique believes that "people will say and do anything to be heard," which is exactly what Daylyt capitalized on when he announced that he wants to "f*ck Diddy."
