With the release of his latest mixtape Free Crack II, Lil Bibby spoke exclusively to VladTV about making the highly buzzed mixtape, his relationship with Lil Herb and working with big producers like Hit-Boy and Justice League.

The "Water" rapper says that his "Kill S***" record with Lil Herb in 2012 and Drake's big cosign helped him gain a bigger audience outside of Chicago.

"When the "Kill S***" record has dropped, that's when I really knew "dang there's a lot of eyes on us" so we have to take this seriously," he said. "We started recording more, started getting a lot of attention. I've been recording the songs for about 10 months, but a lot of my songs got released when the Drake s*** happened. I decided to make more songs since they weren't ready for his ears."

He also says he caught the eye of Hit-Boy after he released the track, "Whole Crew" which lead to their work on the first Free Crack series.

"He was saying that he was going to send a couple records, but when he heard the "Whole Crew" joint, he just got hype," he said. " [Hit-Boy] sends 30 beats now and you know motherf****** can't get a Hit-Boy beat."
