In the midst of the recent killing of unarmed teen Mike Brown, footage of Boynton Beach, FL., police threatening to shoot a car full of African-American men has surfaced and is causing quite a stir.

In the video you can see that the car has been pulled over and the cop asks where the driver lives. Once he tells him, he is asked to provide his I.D. The Boynton Beach Police Chief defends the cops' behavior, saying the men were "escalating" the situation by "recording the interaction," causing one of the officers to fear for his life when a man "reached out of his window with a black object in his hand," which turned out to be a phone, as he was trying to record the officer's name and badge number.

The cop then slapped the phone out of the driver's hand, pulled him from the vehicle and proceeded to throw him to the ground face down while another officer approached the car and pulled a gun on the passenger, telling him "I'll put a round in your ass so quick."
