Back in 2011, Young Jeezy opened up to VladTV about the moment he knew his career had surpassed what he thought it would be. The Atlanta rapper gives big props to bootleggers who were selling his mixtapes in other states, which spread his name out on a wider spectrum.

He then details how much love his fans have shown over the year, and shares a story about one follower throwing $50,000 in cash in his van. Jeezy says that his homeboys were scrambling to grab the money, but he scooped up a bunch of it and handed it back to the guy.

After the incident Jeezy says that he understood the responsibility of his role in rap music, which he compared to being a preacher. He ended the conversation by saying that he sees the support in his followers, who have "trap or die" tattooed on their face and chest, proving their loyalty.
