On the most recent episode of Troi "Star" Torain's radio show "Live & Direct," he aired out his thoughts on a variety of topics, including Talib Kweli's unwillingness to vote.  Star also addressed some of the wild events that occurred over the weekend at the VMAs, including the performances from Nicki Minaj and Beyonce, and Suge Knight being shot six times at Chris Brown's pre-VMA party. Additionally, Star touched on the recent funeral of Mike Brown and encouraged the "freedom fighters" in Ferguson to continue to seek justice for the slain unarmed teenager.

The radio host had some very critical words for Talib Kweli over his refusal to participate in the U.S. voting process.  Star has issue with the Brooklyn rapper not participating in the selection of government officials, while also speaking out against it and influencing other young minds to follow in his footsteps and ignore becoming involved in the issues faced by U.S. society.  Star also called Talib "a slave ass ni**a," among other things.
