In this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV, Billy Danze of M.O.P. (Mash Out Posse) spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the current evolution of Battle Rap. Billy shared his thoughts on the upcoming battle between Keith Murray vs. Fredro Starr, and how Keith could possibly be underestimating Fredro. He also touched on the Total Slaughter battle between Joe Budden vs. Hollow Da Don, Cassidy pulling out a notepad during his battle vs. Dizaster, whether or not he would ever consider stepping in the ring, and also the current state of QOTR.
Billy also seemed very impressed with the female Battle Rap scene under the guidance of Babs Bunny, Debo, and Vague, and spoke on the marketability of the female lyricists. He also expressed his doubts in the ability of mainstream rappers to properly adapt to the Battle Rap format in order to find success in the sport.
