Keith Murray discussed mainstream artists getting involved with Battle Rap in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes. He specifically named Common vs. Drake and Lil Wayne vs. Pusha T as battles that he'd like to see. Keith later shared his thoughts on the Canibus vs Dizaster battle, and Canibus' shocking decision to pull out a notepad after he forgot his rhymes.
Keith wasn't too upset about the fact that Canibus pulled out the notepad because he related that to mainstream artists rapping a verse they have written on their phones during radio interviews when they're supposed to be spitting an off-the-top freestyle. What upset Keith, was the fact that Canibus wasn't able to spit any hot bars once he pulled out the notepad. For the record, if Keith was in his shoes he wouldn't have resorted to pulling out any form of pre-written material to help him get through the stressful situation.
