Amid all of the trolling that many fans accuse Daylyt of doing on a regular basis, the Watts, California, Battle Rapper got real in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.  When asked about one of his grittiest street experiences, Daylyt recalled the first time he ever witnessed a shootout take place before his eyes.

He was just 6 years old when it all happened.  According to Day, he was walking to get food with his family when a car rolled up on them and flashed a shotgun out of one of the passenger windows.  Daylyt's older brother and his friends, who were with him at the time, ran after the car and unleashed a firestorm of bullets on the vehicle.  After the car sped off, it came back around to him and his family and a shooter fired off a 12-gauge shotgun out of one of the windows.  Daylyt recalled freezing in place and just watching as the assailant let of around 10 shots at his family, and wound up hitting one of his brother's friends in the arm.

He admitted that the situation traumatized him but also taught him a valuable lesson on how to react when extremely dangerous situations occur.
