Montreality caught up with Cam'ron recently and spoke to him about the tragic killing of 18-year-old Mike Brown by Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson.  Cam stated that what happened to Brown was "messed up" and spoke on how NYC residents are "kinda soft" when it comes to responding to police brutality that occurs within the city.  He referenced the murders of Eric Garner and Sean Bell, and how nobody in New York really became too emotionally invested in those situations and never really decided to take a stand against the NYPD, yet are so "quick to jump on the Mike Brown bandwagon."

"I think it's messed up.  A lot of times what I think is honestly, us New Yorkers when it comes to situations like that we kinda soft as a city. But it's situations like that. Because, I mean, don't get me wrong our police are probably like police was in the 90s in L.A. You know what I'm saying? I don't know how they are today in L.A...The police was wild. Police are like that today in New York because everybody makes a big deal about Mike Brown and that is a reason to make a big deal, a very big deal. But it was a guy two weeks prior to Mike Brown who got choked up by the cops for just selling cigarettes. He got choked out on camera.

"You got this guy Sean Bell four, five years ago gets shot nine times with no weapon.  Four police. Police get off...But the Mike Brown situation everybody in St. Louis go crazy. They wild out as they should. I'm not promoting the violence and acting like it should be crazy, but something gotta be done. They taking a stand. As opposed to New York we got two people who died recently from police we don't say nothing...I'm pissed Barack ain't say nothing about it yet. But just in general it happens in New York a lot and we sweep it under the rug. But then we quick to jump on the Mike Brown bandwagon."

Cam also spoke on his past interviews with Bill O'Reilly and Anderson Cooper, along with some details regarding his childhood growing up in New York City.  Do you agree with Cam'ron's views?
