Taylor Swift's new song "Shake It Off" has already become a huge hit on YouTube as it has already gained over 6 million views in just one day's time.  However, her new success has come with a bit of controversy, as many people believe that she was exploiting various stereotypes closely associated with Black culture throughout the video.

Swift channelled many different forms of dance in the video, from ballet, to cheerleading and even B-boy and break dancing, but it was some of the imagery projected that alerted some people to Black exploitation.  There are numerous women who twerk during the video, and while it is a fairly even mixture of black and white girls shaking their cakes, some people, such as Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt, didn't like Taylor using that form of dancing in her video at all.

Let it be known that Earl made his comments on Swift's new video without actually watching it, but he still believes that she was "perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic of white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture."  Taylor has yet to respond to the backlash.
