Snootie Wild explains how he signed to Yo Gotti's CMG label and Epic Records at the same time. When asked about having to audition in front of L.A. Reid for the gig, Snootie laughed and said that he didn't have to go in front of the label head to get the deal. He also adds that he talks to L.A. on the phone, but hasn't met with him in person.
He also spoke about the amount of time that he spent rapping before being signed to a deal, which may surprise a lot of people. Snootie says that he had been working at his craft for less than a year before he dropped his big hit "Yayo," but says that he released about six songs before he got noticed on a larger scale.
