Tatyana Ali sat down with VladTV for an exclusive interview where she revealed how she landed the role of "Ashley Banks" on the hit '90s sitcom, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

Ali revealed that she actually shot a pilot for a sitcom two years before "Fresh Prince" called "Wally & The Valentines." While that show didn't work out, NBC kept her in mind and invited her to audition for "The Fresh Prince Project" for which she was cast, and the rest is history.

When asked about her contract with the show and how lucrative the deal was, Ali says that she still believes she has to work, as do all of the actors from the show, but that residuals are always nice to receive.
