In this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes, Goodz addressed the effect that friendships in Battle Rap can have on particular matches, and also how often battlers use played out slogans in their rounds.

Goodz began by discussing friendly battles, and referenced his battle with Hollow Da Don as an example of how friendships behind the scenes can take away from the raw tension within the battle.  He believes that friendly battles are a "waste for the fans" because battlers usually won't give it their full effort when facing off against someone that they are cool with.

Goodz then spoke on certain battle tactics that aggravate him, and the worst one in his opinion is when battlers always explain their bars right after they say them.  He thinks that everyone is doing it far too often these days and it actually takes away from the creativity of their lyricism, or at times people needlessly explain bars that are easy to understand.

Goodz also addressed how people's slogans are being used far too often to the point that they are now "played out" for many battlers.
