NBA baller Chris Copeland of the Indiana Pacers was present at the most recent UW Battle League's "Annihilation" event, where he spoke with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about his interests in the growing sport.  At the time of the interview, Copeland had just witnessed the first battle of the night between B-Magic vs. Charron, and he was very eager to see how the rest of the matches would unfold.

Chris reflected on his own history as a true fan of the sport, stemming back many years to the era of Murda Mook vs. Jae Millz, and progressing throughout the evolution of Battle Rap.  Copeland believes that the increasing presence of mainstream Hip-Hop in the sport is very beneficial, and he ran down a list of some of his favorite battlers and also some mainstream artists that he would like to see exchange bars.

While Chris doesn't think that he'll ever step foot into the ring, he addressed the growing amount of fan attention from the NBA in general.
