In a special two-part interview with This is 50's Jack Thriller, the mother of popular Chicago rapper Chief Keef talked about her parenting skills with Keef, his troubles with Lil Durk, and why she sees her son as one of her good friends.
Loitia Carter explains how the two have a special relationship because she plays a good balance as a strict and cool mother.
"He listens to me," she said. "I'm so cool, so I'm developing a way to get some great respect from him. We're so much like friends, that's my people and he says, 'You know you my ni****,' and I'll say, 'What's going on?' and he'll say,'You know you my old lady."
She also says she wants him to open up to her about his troubles.
