On the heels of Eric Garner's death after police used an illegal chokehold move during an arrest, another officer has been put on desk duty for allegedly stomping a man in the head during an arrest.

According to the New York Daily News, Brooklyn officer Officer Joel Edouard arrested Jahmil-El Cuffee on marijuana possession after he witnessed Cuffee rolling up a joint in the street.

While trying to arrest Cuffee, Edouard pulls out his gun as onlookers plead with the police to let the man go. A few minutes later, Edouard is seen with his foot on the man's head.

"What is wrong with this officer?" one man screamed. "Look at your officer! You see that?"

Cuffee was taken to a local hospital with head and neck injuries and later arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and pot possession.

Edouard was forced to hand over his badge and gun while placed on desk duty.
