With over 20 years in the industry, LL Cool J is ready to make a comeback with his new album G.O.A.T. 2, a follow up to his classic album, G.O.A.T.

In an interview with Shade 45's VIP Saturdays, the famed rapper talked about his new single "You Already" with Troy Ave, and why he returned to music.

After major success in music and film, the rapper says many people see artists like himself, Biggie Smalls, and Tupac as factors in hip hop, but know nothing about the music.

"Biggie & Pac grew up to my music," he said. "So it's time for me to give them an album, but a real album that's for the hood, that's for the people, not me trying to see how big I can be, but it's more about just being real and the roots."

LL also talks about working with Loaded Lux, Murda Mook, and Raekwon for his album.
