Lil Durk sat down for an exclusive interview with VladTV where he discussed his plans for making it in an industry that doesn't always support artists via album sales. While Durk is shooting to sell 100,000 copies of his debut album the first week, he's relying more on shows to get his name and his bread up.

There was a time when Durk couldn't do shows in his native Chicago because he "terrified the city," but he has since booked plenty of hometown crowds. He admits, however, that promoters have cancelled shows in certain parts of the city for fear of violence erupting during a concert.

Durk also spoke on joining French Montana's "Coke Boyz" crew, saying he never caught flack for doing so because all the members can stand on their own two feet. He also says he has up to 20 songs with French Montana that are being kept under wraps.
