In a very rare moment, Katt Williams sat down and revealed a little bit about his come-up in the comedy game, a story rarely heard as Williams has always preferred to keep his personal life under wraps.

He speaks of "accidentally" getting into comedy after lying to a doorman in order to get into a club for free. When told he'd go on for five minutes, and that he'd be paid if he were the funniest comic that night, Williams accepted the challenge and won.

Seven years later he gave it another shot and won a competition in Oklahoma where one of his prizes was to open up for Jeff Foxworthy and a few other comics on the road.
