Lil Durk has taken the initiative to end the violence in his hometown.

According to Kollege Kidd, the rapper performed in his city last week with Curren$y, and called for his hometown of Chicago to stop the violence.

Towards the end of his performance, the Durk chanted with the crowd, "Stop the violence."

"Even doe we live and roc in the streets of Chicago stop the violence put the guns down I don't promo violence I just rap fax." he said.

Two people were killed and 20 were injured this weekend in Chicago due to gun violence. Durk has personally dealt with the affects of gun violence after his cousin NuNu was killed while sitting in his car in June.
