As Apollo Nida prepares for his upcoming prison sentence, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star talked to Shut The Funny Up Radio about the good and bad of reality TV, his faith in God, and whether his wife Phaedra was really there for him during his court case.

Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison for bank fraud earlier this month. The reality star created a faux car dealership that scammed shoppers out of millions of dollars. Apollo says he's learned his lesson and wants to help people with fraud prevention.

He also mentioned that his wife Phaedra didn't make it to his prison sentencing.

"She didn't even turn up for the f****** sentencing, so I'm still kind of salty about that" he said.

Rumors have surfaced around the couple this week after people close to Phadrea claim that she wants to divorce him.

Apollo also mentioned that he's trying to become a better man.

"It doesn't make you less of a man to cry, to shed tears. I'm really upset about how I was raised and I could possibly take my sons through the same thing. But by the grace of God he's still young and we have many years ahead of us. I just can't make those same mistakes."
