Floyd Mayweather believes that Justin Bieber's critics love to give him a hard time.

In a special interview for BET's 'Lift Every Voice,' the boxer struggled to get his thoughts out on Justin Bieber, their friendship, and the Canadian star's racial comments.

"I always try to talk to him positive," he said. "A lot of times they're very very hard on him..he may call me and they try to put a stamp on his back..your thought process is totally different as you get older."

The singer has kept it low key since the racist comments surfaced online, and has made an effort to return to church and put more time into his music.
