VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes spoke with Brooklyn Battle Rapper Cortez about the monumental Total Slaughter battle between Joe Budden and Hollow Da Don after the event concluded.

Cortez believes that the overall event was a huge success and the presence of Total Slaughter will only help to elevate the sport to new heights.  He spoke on how Joe Budden dropping the microphone in the third round largely contributed to him losing in the eyes of the judges, but also says he understands if fans view it as a debatable match.

Daylyt's bizarre third round has been highly criticized due to the fact that he once again stripped on stage, and Cortez feels as though he was simply wasting people's time with those kinds of actions.

He concluded by expressing his interest in battling the likes of Beanie Sigel and Cassidy in the future.
