Daylyt spoke with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes shortly after the infamous Math Hoffa vs. Dizaster fight occurred at KOTD's BOLA 5 battle event.

He began by addressing the talks of brewing tensions between the East and West Coast, and whether this situation could end up being as big as Biggie and Tupac.  Daylyt believes that both Dizaster and Math have gained more than enough international fame for the drama to spill over into dangerous outcomes similar to what happened between the late Biggie and Tupac if the situation is not diffused promptly.

Daylyt then exclusively revealed to VladTV why exactly he had a pistol inside of the venue.  He explained that the security didn't pat anyone down during the event, and that he and his Grape Street crew had gotten into a previous altercation with a rival gang days before the event, and that members of the rival gang were at the venue as well.  He sensed that things could potentially result in gun play, so Daylyt had his girl go back to their home and retrieve a handgun and bring it to him for protection purposes.  Day also stated that he informed members of the KOTD staff to shut down the event because he suspected that an altercation could erupt with the rival gang members, but they informed him that everything was all good.

He recalled his initial reaction to seeing Dizaster punch Math Hoffa, and how shocked he was that the battle had actually turned into a fight.  One of Day's first thoughts was to make sure his girl was safe from harm, and then he was left with the predicament of deciding on whether or not he should jump in the fight. He feared that even if he tried to break up the melee, the gun might potentially go off, and then the entire situation would shift from a fight between Math Hoffa and Dizaster to everyone saying "Daylyt tried to kill Math."
