In one of his most honest interviews ever, Robin Thicke opened up to Sway in the Morning about his new album Paula, and why he decided to discuss his personal life through his music.

The "Get Her Back" singer says that he feels better to sing about his story instead of talking about it.

"It's so much easier to sing about, than talk about," he said. "Give me a microphone and a piano, I'll sing the whole album.... but I love making music and spreading it with the world, and I want the world to know that it was my fault."

He also says that he knows the album won't be the only thing that will win his estranged wife, Paula Patton over.

"You don't lose love in a day and get it back in a day." he said.

While Sway played an old interview with Patton gushing over her former love, the cameras went to black out of respect for the singer.

Thicke added that the track "Black Tar Cloud" will answer questions about the breakup.
