Philadelphia's Freeway sat down with HipHopSince1987 to talk new music, unexpected collaborations and rocking crowds from Madison Square Garden to local hood spots.

Freeway discussed his unexpected collaboration with Waka Flocka Flame, "Tolerated," saying that while they have completely different styles, they both bring a crazy energy to the record. Freeway also spoke about working with producer/mash-up king Girl Talk, who gave him over 100 beats to choose from while crafting his EP. While only 5 made the cut, Freeway has 35-40 more on deck for future projects.

In addition to Waka, Freeway also worked with Jadakiss. After reaching out to the Yonkers rapper, Jada sent back a verse that Free thought was so good he debated changing his own verse, but ultimately didn't.

The former Roc-A-Fella spitter also spoke of creating his latest project during Ramadan, which is why he sounds so "hungry" musically.

Lastly, Freeway way got into discussing his live show, where he says he's used to rocking huge stadiums like Madison Square Garden, as he did early in his career with Hov, all the way to packing small clubs in the hood.
