Uno Lavoz spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the unfortunate events that occurred over the weekend at KOTD's BOLA 5 event, when the Dizaster vs. Math Hoffa battle erupted into an all out brawl.
Uno thinks that the entire situation was very unfortunate, and at the professional level that they are competing at, violence has no place in Battle Rap. He was surprised that Dizaster was the one to swing first, but he believes that there was too much tension in the air already so the chances of a fight breaking out were much higher. While he doesn't think that the fight was a direct setup, Uno does believe that Dizaster's Grape Street associates were planted near the crowd already in the mood to rumble if need be.
Uno isn't sure how to resolve the issue; however, he does think that a 1-on-1 could be the only way to put their issues past them. The only problem is, he doesn't think that Dizaster nor Math will go to a neutral territory to make the fair fight happen.
Uno also stated that since this situation has gone past Battle Rap, he does think that it could turn into a potential Tupac vs. Biggie situation if things don't calm down soon.
