Smack spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the varying levels of difficulty that it takes to battle with fresh material in front of a live crowd as opposed to performing a rap set that people have already heard before, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.

The point that Battle Rap is much more difficult than mainstream artists performing shows was originally brought up by DNA in a previous interview with Hughes.  Smack completely cosigned DNA's statements and believes that there is no comparison between the level of skill that it takes to battle in front of a live crowd as opposed to performing well-known songs.

Smack concluded by sharing his thoughts on which mainstream artists he thinks would do well in Battle Rap, and he named Drake, Jadakiss, and a few others.

What are your thoughts on the difficulty of battling compared to performing live?  What mainstream artists do you think could make a successful transition into Battle Rap?
