In an interview with Skee Live, Ma$e breaks down his music career and his thoughts on naysayers of his preaching and music career.

When asked if he responds to the comments of his relationship with God, the rapper says he ignores them.

"I don't," he said. "I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion and when you're a trailblazer you take all the lashes for others to do something freely. When you see things before they happen, that's when the future belongs to you."

He also talked about the state of New York rap during his era and today.

"Back then the difference was we were all trying to outdo each other lyrically," he said. "Back then, there was no politics to it. 'I'm just gonna beat you in the booth,' just dope MC's."

He also called his critics ignorant for shaming his career choice but praising Jay Z and 50 Cent's rap and and successful business careers.
