In an interview with Global Grind, Childish Gambino talks about performing at Hot 97's Summer Jam, and why he likes Internet trolls.

Gambino performed several songs from his album Because The Internet and joined Jhene Aiko on stage for their collabo, "Bed Peace." The rapper also addressed rumors of another album dropping later this year.

"I'm working on stuff," he said. "I don't know when it will be [done.] Music is done when it's done. It's like sex, when it's done it's done." It will be nice to have something out by this year."

He also mentions that he enjoys the amount of hate he receives from critics and people on Twitter.

"If I don't have haters, I'm Clay Aiken," he said. "I love Kanye, I love Jay Z, I know people hate them, you need haters to show you what you're not. Like I know Charlemagne tha God doesn't like me and that's great."
