Aye Verb opened up to BattleRap.com about his personal finances, and the finances that many Battle Rappers get to enjoy from the work they put in for the culture and thus the income they receive in return. Verb stated that those who have a well-respected name simply don't have to work, because they grind hard enough to ensure that their brand will always remain relevant and generate income. Verb claims that he "makes more money than teachers and police officers, every year," without having to clock in for a daily job.
Verb also touched on the topic of ghostwriting and how he would do it for somebody if the payment was high enough.
