Choke No Joke stopped by VladTV to speak about his new project, "A Genius Leaves the Hood: The Unauthorized Story of Jay Z." He said that he was interested in being a part of telling Jay's whole story after being approached by Moguldom Entertainment.

When asked about surprising moments in the film, Choke mentions Jay's first rap name, which the rapper's mentor Jaz O speaks about. He also talks about the Brooklyn rapper's rise to mogul status, a transition Choke believes is a result of surrounding himself with better business people.

He then shares stories from his time at Roc-A-Fella, where he filmed his popular series, "The Last Days of the Roc." Choke says that at the time he was working closely with Dame Dash and felt that Jay was being unfair, but in retrospect he understood that Jay was making a smart business decision. At the end of the conversation, Choke sums up how the story also changed his mindset about moving from the streets to being a business man.
