This week in trailers we have a few previews from books that come to life as screenplays. Fresh off the acclaim for his performance in 12 Years a Slave, Chiwetel Ejiofor stars in Half of a Yellow Sun. This is a film based on a novel by the Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (who may be more known for her feature on Beyonce's latest album).
The popular children's book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has been turned into a comedy starring Steve Carrell. There are also trailers for flicks starring James Franco and Melissa McCarthy.
