Chilla Jones is one of the most respected lyricists in Battle Rap for his dangerous pen game, and while choking for him is a rare sight, he did have a lapse of memory in his battle vs the punchline-heavy B-Magic years ago on Smack/URL.  Chilla spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about that choke in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.

Chillla began by breaking down the many factors that could contribute to a battler fumbling his or her bars.  Something as small as a little laughter from someone on stage or in the crowd is enough to make the lights turn out in the memory go blank, and that's actually what happened to Chilla after Magic laughed during the third round of their battle.  Chilla recalled that choking was a horrible feeling and doesn't understand how certain battlers are career choke artists.  He also revealed the concluding bars that he forgot during his battle with Magic, and how he used them later on vs DNA.

Chilla concluded by addressing the topic of freestyling, and how he doesn't rely on it too often due to his pen being truly dangerous.
