Hip Hop journalist Elliott Wilson continued his CRWN series with an informative interview with Future in Atlanta this week.

The rapper covered an array of topics, including his family ties to The Dungeon Family, his sophomore album Honest, and why he chooses not to listen to rap music.

Future is known for his use of Auto-Tune, from popular singles like "Turn On The Lights" and "Honest." According to AllHipHop, when asked about his revival of the trend Jay Z deaded with his 2009 single "D.O.A (Death of Auto-Tune)," the Atlanta rapper says he doesn't listen to rap music.

"I wasn't listening to him," he said. "Maybe if I was listening to his music I might not have done it."

He also included that his reason for not listening to rap music is it helps him stay original.

Until the full interview drops, enjoy some snippets of CRWN above where the rapper discusses working with DJ Mustard and his relationship with Drake.
