Singer Mya sat down with VladTV to discuss new projects, her popularity in Japan, and giving the people what they want.

She spoke on releasing a series of EPs throughout 2014, including her recent release "Sweet 16," to celebrate 16 years since the drop of her debut album. She also said that while technology has changed how labels and artists relate to one another, she feels the priority should still be making great music and giving fans what they want.

The singer also got into how she unintentionally built a great fan base in Japan after her album leaked there before hitting the U.S.
