Norbes and Hynaken spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the infamous fight that took place at Summer Madness 3 between Serius Jones and Math Hoffa.  Norbes admitted he was nervous going into the event due to the lack of promotion put in leading up to the day of the battles, but was pleased that loads of fans were still lined up to see the card Smack/URL set up for them.  One of his big regrets for that day was the extremely hostile presence of the security working the event.  He and Hynaken both felt as though they were too tense and almost promoting fights with various individuals throughout the day.

When it came down to specifically discussing the fight between Math Hoffa and Serius Jones, Norbes stated that while it was very unfortunate, it was just one isolated incident that shouldn't overshadow everything that Smack/URL has built for the culture.  Norbes believed that Math owed Serius an apology for what he did, but events have occurred since the altercation that have prevented that from happening.  He also doesn't think the fight would've occurred had he been on stage at the time of the battle.

Since Summer Madness 3, Smack/URL has managed to get its brand back on the right track and put forth some great content for the culture to enjoy, and will continue to do so with big events coming up such as NOME 4 and many others.
