Last year, BET's 106 & Park brought the mecca of Battle Rap, Smack/URL, on to their platform to form the Ultimate Freestyle Friday (UFF) competition. The viewers were very pleased with the results from the battles and as a result the competitive rap show has returned for a second season.
This time around, the UFF features loads of new talent and fresh faces to many who are only casual Battle Rap fans. Eight elite rappers from the new Proving Grounds (PG) class have been selected to showcase their talents and skills on the second season of the UFF. The roster consists of Sno, Prez Mafia, Ah Di Boom, Danny Myers, Jay Rell, KG The Poet, HA Double, and Ty Law. The winner of the tournament will then square off with the champion from season 1, Ill Will.
Season 2 of the UFF returns this Friday, March 28th, at 6 p.m.
