During an exclusive interview with VladTV, comedian Donnell Rawlings weighed in on the many interviews we've done with Brand Nubian emcee Lord Jamar, and more specifically the controversial comments Lord Jamar made about whites and gays in hip-hop. Rawlings opined that Lord Jamar may have damaged his career opportunities with the critical comments, and feels that "Jamar won't be doing mainstream gigs from now on."

Rawlings and Jamar would go back and forth on Twitter, with Jamar accusing accusing Rawlings of being a sellout. Rawlings responded with a photo of Jamar's fully nude prison scene from "Oz," and the war then got into full swing.

Now, in an interview on the radio talk show 105.5 Beat Donnell Rawlings would continue going at Lord Jamar. However, this time Rawlings would clear some things up, including Jamar's statement that Rawlings is a sellout.

Donnell Rawlings started by giving the listeners a background on Lord Jamar's hip-hop career as a member of Brand Nubian as well as his controversial opinions made on VladTV. Rawlings says white rappers like Eminem, Macklemore, Action Bronson, and Mac Miller are "doing so much better in their career than Mr. Jamar."

Rawlings would then talk in depth about Lord Jamar's Twitter hashtag "sellout" directed at him. "You have a right to call me whatever you want. But you have to be clear and give me examples of when and where I sold out. And if you don't have examples of that then you're just talking hate and just talking to be relevant."

Rawlings proceeded to call out Jamar for his role on the show "Oz" where in one scene Jamar appeared nude. "You say I'm a sellout doing anything for a white, but who made you have your butt cheeks on cable TV? You know what I'm saying?"
