T.I. recently sat down with Young Jack Thriller for Thisis50.com, where he addressed Trinidad James' recent comments about the South running NY music, but says that the "All Gold Everything" rapper can't speak for all of Atlanta. He also shares stories of his early days in NY when he was a kid, coming to the city with his father and uncle.

Tip then explains his "Asap" line, where he raps, "I don't know what ya do for your respect, but I'ma die for mine," and reveals how true the lyric is to his life.
