Rugged Urban Entertainment filmmaker Peter Spirer captured this throwback footage of a young Nas discussing why so many people view the police with hostility. Nas seemed to reflect on his own personal experiences or moments of hostility he witnessed from police officers growing up, as he sat and thought about his response for a short while.

He compared the police to war in Vietnam, as he stated "they are the enemy, straight up and down."  Back then Nas' experiences lead him to believe that cops looked down upon him and others born in rough neighborhoods as if they "were born to be wrong."
