The January 5th, 2014 Empire Battle League event was already looking like a solid card with Chilla Jones vs Charlie Clips and DNA vs Calicoe, but the card got even stronger when news broke that Cortez and K-Shine would be battling as well. Cortez put out this blog announcing that he and Shine will finally be going to lyrical war. This is a battle that Cortez has been trying to make happen, as he's called out K-Shine and T-Rex to face him for a while.
