Debo, the CEO of Queen Of The Ring, returned to our VladTV offices along with 40 B.A.R.R.S. for another exclusive interview with Battle Rap journalist Michael Hughes. In this clip, Debo expressed his honest thoughts on the Summer Madness 3 card. Looking at the line-up from a fan's perspective, Debo understands why people aren't as thrilled as they had hoped with the battles presented to them, but also understands that "everyone on the card gets busy" and it could be a night full of battle classics. All-in-all based off of the names alone, Debo feels like "NOME 3 should have been Summer Madness 3," but he is eager to see how the whole event turns out.
He has two QOTR battlers facing off on the card as well, which is the highly anticipated battle between two of the top names at QOTR, Jaz The Rapper vs Ms. Hustle. Both are very skilled lyrically, with varying styles. Jaz is a much calmer, punchline rapper, while Ms. Hustle is an aggressive and energetic bar-heavy spitter. Their styles and lyrical abilities make for an interesting clash. Hustle is coming off of a classic battle vs Ms. Fit, while Jaz hasn't stepped into the ring since she battled QB.
Debo feels as though it will be "the battle of the night," and should be the main event.
