Questlove stopped by "Democracy Now" for an interview recently, and spoke on a number of political and Hip Hop related topics.
The beginning of the video focuses primarily on Questlove's history with being profiled by police. He believes he's been pulled over 20-30 times since he got his license in the mid-90s, and talks about several of the stops.
He also spoke The Notorious B.I.G.'s problems with the Roots, after the latter dropped their "What They Do" video seemingly mocking Big. Quest explained that the whole thing was a big misunderstanding, but before he could resolve the issue, Big was killed.
