During a recent interview with Virginia radio station Power 92.1, DJ Khaled came clean about his proposal to Nicki Minaj.
"The proposal, I was just having fun with it," he revealed. "I just wanted to show love and bring some excitement for my fans to connect with the record...I just wanted to tap into the emotion of the record."
Khaled said the proposal was a creative way to present his latest single, "I Wanna Be With You." The song features Nicki Minaj.
"I was joking," he said. "It was having fun. We be so busy making these big hits, I wanted to come with a dope plan to present the next mass record."
