Magic Johnson spoke to TMZ about his son's decision to come out and reveal his sexual orientation to the public, despite the fact that Magic warned him about the ridicule he would face.  Magic explained why he thinks the gay community is so often frowned upon by the black community, but also that he thinks his son's willingness to step up and be honest about his lifestyle will serve as a "symbol of hope" for other young black people to come out as well.
