Snoop Dogg/Snoop Lion sat down with Tavis Smiley and touched on the importance behind his new Snoop Lion movement. Tavis Smiley brought up a comment made by a fan who said, "If Snoop were saying something, if his music were really saying something, that negro would be dangerous". Snoop then acknowledged that while he does make a lot of upbeat party music, his music has never really carried a deep rooted positive message within it.
